Worthy Book F&B Edition 2014/2015

Hey there loyal readers, if I still have any lol Hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas and I can't believe 2015 is just a few days away.

Back to the main point, the Malaysia's Number #1 coupon book for freebies, discounts and deals is back again this time with an F&B edition to boot! I guess it needs no further introduction and I've blogged about it before too last year, you can read it here

Boy, think about all the different things you can eat at greater prices! Plus, it's the festive season right now so there is even more reason to be merry and stuff myself with food :D With just RM29.90, you'll be getting 180 vouchers that can be used at 400 different food outlets nationwide to choose from, and yes, even in East Malaysia. What really impresses me is that this year's WorthyBook covers a wider range of eateries, from various restaurants to cafes and even food delivery services. Just to name a few of my favourites from that list; Din Tai Fung, Dominos Pizza, Santouka Ramen and also(!) the burger outlet that swept us off our feets in 2014, myBurgerlab.

It clearly says it all; The Ultimate Best Food Guide in Town.
Just a few weeks back, I had the chance to visit Morganfield's at Pavilion with Kev and his family over the weekend and I'm kind of ashamed to admit that it was my first time despite the fact the highly raved pork ribs have been around for years. Of course, I decided to use the vouchers that are available #cheapskateauntymodeon HEH

Bottom Ice Lemon Tea served in piggy printed mug, how cute! Not sure if they are actually running out of glasses since the place was packed to the brim that day.
Christmas decoration everywhere (。♥‿♥。)
Mushroom soup served with a piece of garlic bread.
And I present you The Carnivore featuring a full slab of garlicky BBQ Spare Ribs, 1/2 Herbs Roasted Chicken, grilled Thuringer sausage, grilled Hungarian sausage, garden salad, grilled corn on the cob, corn bread and crispy French Fries. It's quite a huge sharing platter strictly for 3-4 gluttons who loves meat, don't say I didn't warn you (っ˘ڡ˘ς)

All in all, the sausages were really delicious. I wished they would have served bigger portion of the sausages. And their ribs, OMGEEE jizztastic is the word. They sure aren't disappointing AT ALL. The meat was well marinated and really tender, though I think it could have been more garlicky.

With great food and of course with such good company and decent service, it sure was a pleasant dining experience at Morganfield's (: They now have another two branch at Publika and The Curve.
I will definitely come back for more sticky bones!
I left the restaurant happy with a satisfied tummy and even discount on my bill :D

So what are you waiting for? Go get your own Worthy Book today (valid till Aug 2015, so there is still plenty of time to use the vouchers) from MPH, Borders, Popular, Times, Kinokuniya & MyNews.com. Why waste the chance of enjoying amazing food without burning a hole in your pocket? Now that I think of it, it's actually a thoughtful gift to give to your friends or family who is a total foodie like me HEH so who wanna get me a few more copies? :P

Fashion Post: Yellow Asymmetrical Skort

It's been  almost two months since I've embarked into the working world and I've got to admit that I seriously miss my carefree uni life already T__T Work has been pretty hectic and I'm still struggling to keep my head above water. With work and whatnot taking up most of my time, I haven't really found the time to dress up and try new clothes out for a while now. Sundays are probably the only days where I can utilize to gussy up and all though some days I will choose sleeping in over anything since it's the only day I can sleep in.

Some of you may recall that I've blogged about Curated Clothing before and I am thrilled to receive one of their fabulous pieces; the Yellow Asymmetrical Skort. We gotta admit that skorts definitely had a moment in the fashion scene this year after the great Zara Skort Armageddon of 2013 and has now growing into a phenomenon of varying cuts, textures, and lengths.

Kimono Cardigan - Taobao

White Camisole - Forever21
Yellow Asymmetrical Skort - Curated Clothing
Rings - H&M

I've always had a very safe selection of colors in my wardrobe, not very versatile and I would seldom venture out to try a color that I'm not confident in pulling off. I can actually count the number of bold coloured garments I have with my ten fingers. I am quite into soft pastel yellow this year but not bright neon-like yellow. I guess there's no harm trying right? When it comes to coordinating my outfits, I love keeping things simple. Minimalist is the word. Drawing from my long admiration and obsession with florals (guess it's pretty obvious HEH), I put together this Kimono Cardigan with the skort, and lo and behold, the entire coordinate seems to fit quite nicely and is totally perfect for a casual-yet-chic day out. Personally I think it's fine to sometimes wander out of our comfort zones and experiment with different bright and bold colors instead of just sticking with the ones in our wardrobes.
Excuse my flip flops :P

So, what do you think of my entire outfit?
Be sure to check out http://curatedclothing.shoppy.my/ (though the site is currently under construction) for more trendy and quirky garments or you can always look up for updates on their Facebook page HERE, and oh don't forget to give them a LIKE too! :D It's December anyway, you sure deserve to pamper yourself with new clothes for Christmas and New Year!

Till then, have a nice weekend ahead guys!

P/S: I wish I could update my blog more often so hopefully I will be able to once I've adapated to a better work-life balance. More posts coming up soon, I know I say this too often but trust me, this time it's for real (;

Blog Not Dead

...yet. Oh hey!

In case you've forgotten how I look like :P
I know I have been silent for the longest time. I'd still be so darn happy if there is at least one or two readers still reading my blog. It has been almost a week since I'm back in Malaysia, still trying to catch up on rest (not forgetting stuffing myself with all the food I've been missing HEH) and trying to adapt to a new chapter of life. Yes, I am now a working adult T___T I can't believe it myself either. Gone are the days where I can stay up late or spend time in front of the laptop surfing the internet or watching drama. Oh well. Welcome to reality, kid. Yet I am super thankful that I managed to secure a job so soon after I completed my studies, so yeah I am not complaining at all. I hope I will learn to equally love Mondays as how I love Fridays but now that I am also working on Saturdays, guess I won't love Fridays as much HAHAHA but I sure gotta love the end of every month, cause y'know mmhmm $$$$$ to spend! Wait, I mean save :P Work has not officially started yet but I'll be officially reporting for duty tomorrow. Feeling nervous yet excited at the same time. Wish me luck!

Well in my case, I would be busy carrying patients hehehe :P
Have a great week ahead guys!

Namaste from Bangalore!

Hey guys!

I know it's been a month since my last post, that's cause I'm currently in India and it's entering the fifth week already. Well, in case you're wondering, I'm here attending a six weeks course with few of my classmates. Life here has been treating me good so far, isn't as bad as I thought it will be. The weather is lovely as well, chilly with minimal sunshine and occasional rain.

I wish I had the luxury to blog but then there isn't wifi available at the place and even the mobile internet isn't stable anyway. Not sure what else to blabber about anymore so here's a bunch of photos I've taken during my first few weekends outings. Bangalore is not exactly a primary destination for most tourists, so there isn't much to explore besides malls and traditional markets.
Safely arrived at Bengaluru International Airport after a four-hours-plus flight.

Fraser Town is the area where I'm staying at.
Random wall painting.

You can see cows almost everywhere, even in the middle of a traffic.

There, another one.

Commercial Street, one of the shopping districts that sells both international brand and locally produced items.

Colourful and shiny bangles.

Handicrafts and silk scarves.

At least there is something that feels familiar like home; Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

Cotton Candy man.

Ganesha Festival Parade.

St Mary's Basilica, oldest church in Bangalore. There was a couple of festivities held during the annual St Mary's Feast when we visited in early September.
Henna for 100rupees.

Books sold by the roadside.

Reminiscing childhood memories!
One of the famous used books stores in town; The Bookworm.
It offers great bargain for both used and new books.
The amount of book they have in every corner of this tiny store is just whoa. How I wish I take all these home with me.

Sorry for the abrupt ending HEH I wish I could write more but I guess I need to get my mojo back. Honestly speaking, I do miss blogging. I know my blog has been nothing but a bore lately. Hope to be back soon with more exciting posts. I shall share more photos in the next post (: Counting down the days till I'm flying home, 13 days more to go!

P/S: I turned 23 last Thursday.
P/P/S: Unfortunately, my camera died on me last weekend T__T
