On the other hand,  Lavender oil's natural soothing and gentle astringent properties is useful in many skin-related conditions such as burns, eczema and psoriasis as it has the ability to reduce inflammation, thereby minimizing breakouts and allow healing to take place.

Verdict: When I first heard of face/body oil, I was pretty hesitant to even try it and my first reaction was "Oil on my acne-prone skin?" That sounds like a terrible idea and there was absolutely zero chance that I was going to put it on my face. Little did I know that facial oils actually reduce the appearance of fine lines and nourish your skin with intense moisture as they have a locking and protective nature. So when I was given the chance to try out this Lavender Face Oil, I started to add it in into my daily skincare regime be it day or night, and I got to say I am loving it. It can be a great replacement for moisturizing cream and body lotion!

The texture is light and it was not as greasy as I thought. The oil absorbs almost instantly and it does not leave a greasy and shiny finish after application but rather a sheer glow. And ehem we all know, glow is good (; I can feel that my face is more luminous and even after a long day, I don't find my face oily. Apart from the nourishing and ultra-moisturizing beauty benefits, I love how soothing it smells. For my body, I tried applying this body oil on mosquito bites scar that have been irritating me for months, and it works amazeballs! The scar just faded off in a day or two.

P/S: However, face oil may not work the same on all skin types so be sure to read up more and test it beforehand. 

Inspire Essential Oil Roll-on Perfume --RM39

Overall Review

I love how both the shampoo and conditioner (550ml each) come in durable and ergonomically designed pump bottle cause it sure makes my life easier. The texture of the shampoo is pretty similar to any other shampoo, white in colour and lathers up nicely. I require only 1-2 pumps of the shampoo to lather my entire head and I like the fact that it wasn't very foamy. The effect was quite instant I would say as my hair becomes less frizzy and more mosturized after a few wash. I can now run my fingers through my hair smoothly after every wash (: With the conditioner and hair mask, my hair feels healthier and fluffier! Not to forget the long-lasting heavenly and refreshing light floral scent that I really love, even the boyfriend noticed the change in shampoo HEH and I love how it doesn't dry out my hair so the shampoo and conditioner are definitely suitable for daily use.

The after photo are taken a week after I started using Tsubaki Shining Hair range products. As you can see, it is now less frizzy and dull and of course slightly shinier ✰˚✧₊⁎ヽ(*´∀`)ﾉﾟ⁎⁺˳✧༚✰ I can have more manageable hair, all thanks to Tsubaki!

For true improvement in sheen, volume, texture and manageability outside of a salon, look no further! To An Acne-Free Skin with Benzac

These days, I got to admit the fact that appearance plays an important role and I am pretty sure that everyone fears of acne and pimples, be it female or male. I consider myself lucky cause I never really have to deal with acne problem since puberty but that doesn't stop me from taking my skin lightly. Dealing with acne can be really tormenting but thanks to Galderma, a renowned Swiss-based global dermatology company for bringing in Benzac, the trusted solution to acne-free skin to Malaysia! Benzac Daily Facial Foam Cleanser 

This facial foam cleanser works to remove impurities effectively and gently unblock pores. I love its light foamy texture that absorbs almost immediately into my skin after applying it and besides, it forms a hydrating non-greasy protective film that makes me feels so refreshed after every wash. 

Benzac Daily Facial Liquid Cleanser

This works exactly the same as the foam cleanser, just that it comes in a liquid form. Its texture is pretty dilute but it can produce quite an amount of foam even with a few tiny drops. One thing is for sure that they both have a really nice and mild scent.

Benzac Facial Scrub

For a more thorough cleansing, it is recommended to use Benzac Facial scrub that is designed to suit all skin types at least twice weekly. It gently exfoliates dead skin cells and impurities to ensure clear pores. The creamy light yellow texture may look harsh but trust me, it is one of the best facial scrubs I've ever used. It is fully packed with loads of microbeads that leaves you feeling squeaky clean after a good amount of scrubbing. And not to forget, it has this really unique citrus/lemongrass (I can't even tell HAHA) scent. 

My verdict? I've been using these products for over a month now and I am loving them. The results isn't that apparent on me since I don't really have serious acne problem but it does a great job in maintaining my skin condition and I do feel a difference since I have lesser breakouts now during that time of the month. 

Remember, you are never alone in fighting acne. The sooner you start treating it, the sooner you'll achieve a better skin. So delay no more!

VERDICT

I love it cause it is ahhhh-mazing, getting smooth feet has never been this easy! What's even better? The instant result! Based on the photos I've attached, you can be the judge yourself. It may not be that visible but I can really feel that my feet were smoother and softer after the first use. It is actually very gentle, didn't hurt or tickle one bit. It is comfortable to hold and effectively followed the contours of my feet to reach all areas that needed some TLC. Within minutes my calluses and dry skin were not just smoothed over, but gone. The fact that it's portable albeit rather heavy for its size makes it possible to bring it along practically anywhere anytime too, especially if you're going on a long vacation. The only downside is probably that it gets a tad messy with the skin dust flying around while using it, so it's best to do it in the bathroom or with a towel underneath your feet. And oh, it does make this loud sound too when you switch it on. Other than that, I'm quite a satisfied user since I'm a flip-flop and sandals kind of person, having beautiful and healthy feet is a must :D Can't wait to let my mum and sister try it out since their cracked heels are worse.

Schwarzkopf Natural & Easy Hair Dye Review

Hey guys!

I've been wanting to dye my hair (one of tasks in my to-do-list after finals) cause I'm really sick of my ugly looking two-toned hair. My black roots are growing out and the lower half of my hair was a mixture of gold, brassy orange, and brown. Thank goodness for this Schwarzkopf Natural & Easy Hair Dye that came right in time to save my day! My hair is still pretty damaged despite cutting it short last November. Speaking of which, I do miss my long hair sometimes.

Anyway, back to the main point. 

I got the Schwarzkopf Natural & Easy in Dark Brown shade. 

ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:

Inside the box you have the usual home dye kit including:

HOW TO USE:
This is actually my first time encountering a DIY hair dye pack that provides a set of protective ear caps and shawl. Definitely a plus point for making hair dye-ing less messier. Once you're all set, you can start off with mixing the colour cream with the developer emulsion.




Note: Natural & Easy should be applied on dry, not pre-washed hair.

Next, simply empty the tube of Colour Cream completely into the Developer Emulsion. Put the lid back on and shake vigorously until all components are completely mixed into a smooth cream. Then you can just apply the prepared colouration mixture directly on your hair. Simple, isn't it?

Tips: Always apply color to your roots first before colouring your "ends". If your hair is dry and porous at the ends, don't apply colour to the ends until the last five to 10 minutes of the development time.

Waiting for dye to settle in.

I was not confident in dyeing my whole hair alone so I had Joeann (who has zero experience of hair dye-ing at all) to help me out. We just randomly looked up for a hair-dye tutorial video on Youtube and worked our way through it. And of course she did a pretty good job despite being a newbie HEH The leaflet actually recommends 30 minutes  to allow the colouration mixture to work, but I left it for 45 minutes so that the colour will turn out darker. I rinsed the dye out with warm water and used the Colour Shine conditioner on the hair after my normal shampoo.

EASY TO USE RATING: 4/5.
It is designed to be used to home and it doesn't take long to get everything done. The mixture was easy to prepare and surprisingly there was no pungent smell at all, I kid you not. In fact, it has a slight sweet scent to it. The formula was creamy so I don't have to worry that the solution will drip everywhere. The solution was really easy to wash out too as it took little time for the water to run clear.

THE RESULT:
I am super satisfied with the aftermath and it did reach my expectation in toning down my brassy orange locks.  Though the shade was a tad too dark to my liking but I love how it makes my hair looks ten times healthier and more volumized.

Can you see the difference? The after photo was taken after a few washes. 

As you can see, there is no longer two tones and I think the colour turns out quite even. It looks somewhat black under normal room lighting but it's actually dark brown under the sunlight (: The condition of my hair or at least the appearance of my hair has improved, no? I know my hair still looks dry but it does feel softer and look glossier now or maybe it's the sunlight :P and I like the fact that the hair dye didn't dry out my hair, the conditioner helps too, I guess.

OVERALL VERDICT:

I loved it! I can now say goodbye to gross brassy orange hair. I'm still slowly getting used to my new hair colour but to be honest, it does boost my confidence and most importantly, it restores the glow of my hair. Though it's rather too soon to tell, I am really curious as to how long will the colour stay. I probably would wanna try red or violet next, we'll see :D I guess my mum will be loving my new hair colour too HEH Now you don't have to spend hundreds to dye your hair at the hair salon when you can get the exact same quality! 

I seriously need to trim my annoying fringe.
