Restoran Murni SS2

I know I would probably be the last person on earth to be all excited about this mamak called Murni. I heard of it during my foundation year but I only get to try it out earlier this year, so pardon me for having this so called Murni madness lately. The food was so orgasmic that I went there two night in a row for my dinner during the weekends. Well, I supposed that Murni SS2 needs no further introduction as everyone knows its impressive menu and non stop coming customers :D

On Saturday night, I was there with Elin.

#1. Watermelon special medium - RM5.00

#2. With generous amount of watermelon cubes, nata de coco and longan *slurps*

#3. Nasi Lemak Ayam Pandan - RM6.00

#4. Spaghetti Carbonara  - RM10.00

On Sunday night, I was there with Joeann and Belinda (:

#5. Look at the amount of drinks he had to prepare :O

#6. Took this shot while waiting for the guy behind who took forever to have a look on the menu

#10. Pink panther tastes like a mixture of everything and it's my fave <3

#11. I love you tastes like Ribena Sprite to me; totally not worth the RM5.

#12. Roti Hawaii has sausages, minced meat, egg and chunks of huge ass pineapple in it YUMSSS

#13. The person who invented this is a real genius; why can it taste so good?

Like a G(6X2)

So I guess you've heard that I got myself another baby :D My third baby to be exact, after the first and second babies I got last year (Y) Thanks to Mummykins, I'm now officially a proud owner of Canon G12!

It comes with a casing, 4gb memory card, and a mini tripod.

It's one of the latest product from Canon’s “G” series point-and-shoot cameras released last year, a successor to Canon G11 and the king among Canon compact cameras. It’s big, bulky and looks quite old fashioned but that's what I love about it, something different from the usual compact cameras. It is one of the top performance cameras and one of best point-and-shoot cameras for shooting video as well since it earned the highest scores in our video-quality testing over the past year and the list continues. From all the reviews that I've read so far, it's more to its awesomeness rather than its flaws. So, I guess it isn't a mistake buying it cause it is really worth the purchase (:

It's been a week since I started using it, all that I can say that it's kicking ass. Even my friends love it. There are still a lot more to explore about this little precious thing in order to take great pictures and it would be great if I could learn more from someone who can teach me to make full/good use of all the features available. Besides, the G12 offered oodles of really fun scene modes to play with such as colour accent, super vivid, posterize, HDR, and fish eye, miniature, and nostalgic modes. They even have image parameters to make your skin tone lighter or darker! & thanks to the swivel screen, now I tend to camwhore more than I used to cause it's just so convenient ~

Pros:
+ Easy to use
+ Autofocus works great and fast and with an excellent accuracy
+Superior image and video quality
+ Superb blend of automated and manual controls
+ Adjustable, swiveling LCD screen ♡♡♡
+ Fun-to-use creative scene modes ♡♡♡♡

Shots from different modes/scenes:

#1. Fisheye
#2. Foliage in vivid colours
#3. Poster effect
#4. Super vivid
#5. Nostalgic - you can actually the intensity of nostalgicness that you desire!
#6. Miniature
#7. Colour accent - where you keep only selected colour and the rest will be in B&W
All in all, Canon G12 would be good enough for someone like me; who wanted the manual features of a DSLR but couldn’t afford to commit to the larger and more expensive format. It is indeed an excellent camera to learn on and it's a great companion to a DSLR-wielding pro. From what I read, the closest rivals to the killer Canon G12 would be Nikon Coolpix P7000 and Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 but still Canon will be my choice cause it sure is delighting me always (;

P/S: Should I go post my photos extra large or large? Hmmm

Updated: Apparently, CleverMunkey claimed that the cons that I stated previously are not the cons so I guess this camera is really a good-ass? :DDD

Mixed feelings

Something just doesn't feel right. I wish I could explain why but I can't. I guess it's just one of those random day when I'm struck with sadness for no reason. My mind has been lost lately and I just don't understand anything anymore. I want it back, I want my life back.

I wanted to blog a proper update (there's so much to tell!) but I can’t because currently, I'm tied down with so much tasks on hands. :( I'm so so dead, I haven't even started on the sponsored post from Nuffnang which dues on the first week of March and I still have 2 major summative assignments yet to be done. So many stuffs yet so little time. Bless my soul, one more month to finals. Life sucks cause it’s no fun being so occupied that I have to missed a few events. I'm even down with severe cough, mild flu and sorethroat to an extend that I actually lost my voice. Thank God that I'm feeling better now but I still have the cough, annoying much. I srsly can't wait for Friday alrdy <3 It's gonna be another early weekend for me woohoo (not that I'm complaining)

& I know this post is kinda pointless but I just feel better after letting it all out. I'm best at ranting, don't you know? Geez goodnight!
