Markets 21 At The School Jaya One

Hi again!

As mentioned in my previous post, Markets 21 was happening at The School Jaya One last weekend. The one thing I love about all these lifestyle bazaars is the unexpected cheap finds. Since I've pretty much done my CNY shopping, I was just basically looking around for any stalls that caught my attention. Continue reading to find out more!

The first one has got to be BentukBentuk by Adesh and Shahfiq that sells really pretty homemade concrete deco that comes in all kinds of shapes and sizes; thus the name of their brand. Look at those details, yourself. Some even have marble prints on it, how to resist you tell me! They do take customised order, depending on your design.

Next would be Naturafun, a home maker of soap bars, essential oil and more. I've heard of cold pressed juices, but cold pressed essential oil? It's definitely my first. Besides reasonably priced natural beauty solution, they do provide some interesting workshops in soap making and  aromatherapy too. 

Jeanie Botanical, another brand that emphasizes on the use of 100% natural and organic raw materials  in their skin and body care products. One of their products that attracted me the most is the beautifully layered aromatic bath salt, would love to give it a try some day!  

There are even stalls that sell stuff for your favourite canine. Besides some yummylicious treats, they do sell cute outfits for them too!

Adding another stall to the list would be Fleur Lab that sells personalized hand tied and bridal bouquets. They claimed all of the bouquets are made with real flowers that can last up to 5 years. And guess what, Valentine's Day is coming soon *hint hint

Last but not least, would be thes mouth watering brownies from Manis! They had a happy hour promo where their 3 best seller brownies are sold three pieces for RM10, which is definitely a steal. Needless to say, their brownies are as sweet as the founder herself, Adreena who is based in Ampang.

Since I was there after my brunch, I didn't get to explore the food area much but I saw a number of food trucks available selling all sorts of delicious snacks and food. Maybe next time?

After getting to know all these people behind their very own brands at Markets 21, or should I call them entrepreneurs, I have learnt one thing from them; they are really passionate in what they are doing. Start from being nothing, to running and growing their own business. They have done it, how bout you? #haveyoudoneit

So, if you already have a business plan and not sure what to do next, POP by Jaya One, Malaysia's very first pop up retail store is definitely your place to be. Open daily from 10am to 10pm, all you have to do is to walk in and talk to the consultants regarding your product or brand, they will then guide you from them. Worried about not being able to juggle between your day job and what not, no worries! Just let them do the rest! You can take up a spot for your store for a day, a week, or even a month, all at very affordable prices. 

Remember, it's okay to start small. It's either now or never.

Claire Organics' Grand Opening @ Da'men USJ!

Two weeks ago, I had the chance to attend Claire Organic's Grand Opening at Da'men USJ. Thanks again to Louise for the invitation, it sure is an honour to be a part of your big day! If you haven't heard of Da'men USJ, then where have you been?! Hahas jk. It's like the latest hip mall in town, more precisely Subang Jaya and trust me, it's gonna be better and more happening in the years to come. 

I guess Claire Organic needs no detailed introduction as I've previously blogged about them and reviewed two of their products here as well. It's basically a homegrown brand founded by Louise who ventured into chemical free handmade soaps as well as home remedies and later on created even more awesome organic skincare products. It's amazing to see how far Claire Organics has come after all these year, so proud of them!

You can find a plethora of handcrafted soaps made with love and all natural ingredients here in Claire. Each is unique as you can see from the labels itself but they are fantastic for the skin, you just have to find one that suits you. Fret not, they have a common range made to cater for everyone and yes, that includes males and females (: 

One of my favourites would definitely be their body scrub especially these ones from the Suke Quto series. It's actually scrub for anti cellulite and brightening made from Suke Quto coffee beans. I would highly recommend this!

A variety of Essential Oil Roll-on Perfumes and lip balms. 

Their best selling healing balms (works wonder on scars and mosquitoes bites!) and the Bug Off herbal balms. 

If you're a big fan of aromatherapy, you'll be spoiled for choice (; Look at the amount of essential oils that they have!

What I love about Claire is their friendly staff who is always keen to explain their products and the fact that they provide tester for every products in their store, so you can always try it out before purchasing. Not to forget, very affordable price as well! Now you can pamper yourself without burning a hole in your wallet HEH

Collect Popobe® Bola Bears from Domino’s Today!

Two weeks back, I was invited to celebrate the launch of Popobe® Bola Bears with Domino's Pizza. In conjunction with the world biggest football event this month, Domino's has introduced its latest collectibles premium called the Popobe®Bola Bears by Domino’s. Just so you know, these collectibles are custom designed limited edition bears that will be available for a limited time only, exclusively at Domino’s Pizza Malaysia outlets!

Besides members of the media, the launch was attended by the residents from Good Samaritan Home and Rumah Anak Yatim Sg. Buaya, Kuala Langat orphanage homes.

Before the launch started, we were informed that there will be Bear-A-Selfie Instagram contest specially organized for us. All you have to do was to take a selfie with the Popobe® Bola Bears and come up with the creative caption. The top three photos with the most liked will walk away with amazing prizes; Go Pro Hero 3 limited edition in white was one of them!

Almost everyone was caught selfie-ing, giving their best shot for the contest :D

Astro On The Go's Campus Roadshow

Filthy Fortune KL with EDZ @ Prodigy KL

Just so you know, I'm finally done with uni! :D Good thing about my finals this time is that I get to have a few days off before the my final presentation so I decided to take a night off from studying to take a breather. All thanks to Manoah, I had the chance to party with fellow bloggers last Friday night at this new place, Prodigy KL that used to be Butter Factory.  

PRODIGY KL presents you FILTH FORTUNE every Friday!  
 Last Friday, it was DJ EDZ who showcased filthy beats, bass lines, and a fist pumping experience, featuring both EDM and commercial hits that was enough to make the whole crowd wild all night long!

It was still early while we were there, so I had the chance to take some photos of the interior before the crowd builds in. All photos are taken by NX mini, I love how convenient it is to bring it anywhere!

The party won't start till I walk in... #justkidding. By midnight, the crowd are pretty much pumped up on the dance floor with the awesome set played by DJ EDZ. A mixture of trance and house music, and of course some mainstream club hits, I still enjoy myself though I felt  the set could have been better \m/

I like how the place isn't too packed despite the crowd so it's really comfortable to dance around without worrying being squashed like sardines.
