KOSÉ SEKKISEI Lotion Mask Giveaway

I guess we've all heard of KOSÉ, a well established Japan cosmetics and skincare brand that comes with the iconic blue packaging since 1946. Introducing their SEKKISEI Lotion Mask that creates fine-textured, hydrated “snow-white” skin with the power of oriental plant extracts, even for dull skin. Basically, it's a hydrating lotion. Based on a “beautiful translucent skin recipe” containing items carefully selected out of approximately 100 types of oriental plants, it balances out the skin’s moisture levels, preventing dullness, roughness, and pimples caused by dryness, as well as redness caused by sunburn from sunlight or by the sun’s reflection. The cloudy white lotion blends instantly into the skin, just like melting snow, creating fine-textured, plump skin. With a refreshing, light sensation, the lotion leaves the surface of the skin feeling silky smooth, yet hydrated. Your skin will regain its natural pure translucency down to your pores.

The three main ingredients used in this lotion are;

1) Coix Seed Extract is said to have effects such as increasing metabolism, whitening, moisturizing and               prevention of skin roughness. 

2) Angelica Extract which is often used in bath liquids, have disinfectant, whitening and moisturizing effects. 

3) Melothria (White Lotus) extract suppresses melanin production and has whitening effects on the skin.

Thanks to Nuffnang and KOSÉ, I get to try out these SEKKISEI Lotion mask pack which are actually samples and just so you know, they are not for sale. But keep reading till the end of this post cause I'll be giving these masks away too! It works exactly the same like SEKKISEI Lotion just that these comes in ready packed mask so it comes in handy for travelling. Definitely a saviour on one of those lazy days too HEH

The benefits of Sekkisei Lotion Mask are translucency, penetration, moisturizing, zero pores, whitening, smoothing, firming, relaxing and evenness.

Remove the mask from the packet, unfold and place it onto clean face for 5-10 mins.

I would normally put my masks into the fridge before hand for extra cooling effect but surprisingly, this mask is cooling even without putting it into the fridge. Not sure if it's just me, the mask actually has this stinging alcohol smell which I find a tad irritating. 

This thin paper mask has a rougher texture thus it sticks on the face better. It has this special structure that splits on the upper lips area as well. It dries up pretty quickly, in less than 10 minutes. Remove the mask and tap the remaining lotion evenly on the face. No rinsing needed (: 

Feeling refreshed after the mask session! My skin definitely loves it :D

I guess you can't really tell an obvious change, especially not after a single try-out but I personally felt that my dull face was somehow radiant and fair after putting on the mask. I have dry skin and it did feel hydrating instantly. You'll have to continue using it for at least a week or two for a better outcome (:
