Nom with Blogger at FRAMES!

All thanks to KianFai for organizing this blogger gathering last Sunday night at Frames, Sunway Pyramid. T'was indeed very successful with 30 other bloggers attending it. It was a fun night eating and mingling around. We've bought vouchers from HAHAH deals before hand that offers 51% discount and it's only RM29.90 for a 2 pax meal that includes starters, 2 main courses, and 2 free ice lemon tea.

Tony fetched us (Joeann, Joey and I) from the hostel and fetched Cayenne after that before heading to Sunway Pyramid. By the time we reached, some of them are already there, occupying the first long table. The first thing that caught my attention the moment I stepped in was; there were photo frames all over the place WHOA So I guess, that's where the name of the place came from.

We were first served with these tasteless ice lemon tea (cause maybe it's free -__-) and the colour of the tea was obviously much lighter than those served at the other table! It looks more like green tea, don't you think?
After waiting for almost 2 hours with my impatient grumbling tummy, they served the starters. Gamberi Tomato Bruschettas, featuring a combo of grilled prawns and fresh tomatoes, topped up with tuna sauce. It was supposed to be served with 6 pieces for 2 pax but instead we are only served 6 pieces to be shared among 4 people.

Took this while waiting for the food to be served, loving the nude colour chiffon top (:

Now for the main courses!

#1. Chicken burger ordered by Vince.

#2. Beef burger ordered by Joeann and I.

#3. The patty was thick, tender and juicy enough to make me licked my fingers LOL It was really satisfying.

#4. Fish burger ordered by Joey and Christy. They said that it was really salty and it tasted more like a salted fish burger than a normal fish burger; TWO thumbs down for this.

#5. Classic carbonara ordered by Yen.

#6.Marina spaghetti ordered by Genee.

#7. Diablo ordered by April *one of the chef's recommendations*

#8. Beef bolognese (if I'm not mistaken) ordered by Keith.

#9. Finally, the one that I've been waiting for! Spicy Seafood Carbonara YUMS

#10. Cheesy and creamy enough to my liking and not too spicy. Too bad the portion was a tad small for the two of us to share T__T I wish I could have more.
#11. Last but not least, Beef lasagna ordered by Henry.

Overall, the whole dining experience was not up to our expectations AT ALL. Both the services and food were major disappointments. Yet, the manager was kind enough to invite us for another visit to Frames cause our vouchers are still considered unredeemed (to make it up to us based on the feedbacks that KianFai's given).

A gathering wouldn't be complete without group photos and camwhoring with one another!

OMG.. Carbonara is my speciality, I'm not even kidding. I'm really good at making both pasta carbonara and seafood carbonara.

Would totally make some if we should ever meet in person. I'm sure you'd dig it :D...

Cool photos by the way, and looks like you guys had loads of fun.
