Suria KLCC S/S 2013 Fashion Week Begins!

It's that time of the year where you get to see loads of fashion shows at the mall cause it's fashion week, baby! Thanks to Suresh for the invites, I had the opportunity to to attend the Suria KLCC Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Week Media Launch with a sneak preview of 17 popular brands showcasing their latest Spring/Summer collection. This Suria KLCC's 2013 S/s 2013 Fashion Week aims to inspire their shoppers and bring out the fabulous fashionista in them to be chic and trendy this season, said Fartini Zaharuddin, PR & Communications Manager of Suria KLCC.

Of course there were cocktails and finge food served before the fashion show started. 

Since there was still time to spare before the fashion show starts, we girls did what we do best. Time for some group photos!

The fashion show kickstarted with Ida Mariana's powerful voice, covering Skyfall by Adele.  

After the opening perfomance, Suria KLCC debuted its 2013 Fashion Week in style! Besides enjoying the show, of course I was swooned by the male models, such eye candies :3

This is actually my first time attending a fashion show, so initially I didn't know what to expect. It's definitely different from the kind of fashion shows that I get to see in TV. Overall, the sneak preview was great albeit brief. I think it would be better if they have more collection of affordable brands like TopShop and Uniqlo for the young shoppers. With this showcase, I was able to get a few insights on how this spring and summer trend would be like.

Starting from today, Suria KLCC shoppers will be able to watch models strutting down the runway showcasing the respective 17 brands at selected times at the Centre Court until 21st April.

Besides exciting fashion shows, shoppers who spend RM500 and above in a maximum of two accumulated receipts can redeem a beautiful straw bag while the first 20 lucky shoppers who spend RM1,500 every weekend will get a chance to get their hands on hair products from Loreal Professionals.
