Red wine chicken Mee Sua

Hello earthlings, TGIF!

My Friday was fine, I spent whole day rolling on the bed and watched a couple of movies and a few episodes of How I met your Mother. Brilliant isn't it? :D

As stated in my title, I had mee sua for dinner (obviously, DUH) and I tweeted the elder sister (cause it's her fave) just to rub it in her face MUAHAHA I'm evil like that.

Below are the ingredients needed for a yummylicious mee sua;

shiitake Mushrooms, mee sua, fried shallots, ginger, red wine and of course chicken meat!

Mee sua (also spelled mi sua or miswa) is a very thin variety of salted Chinese noodles made from wheat flour. Mee sua are cooked during important festivities like Chinese New Year, birthdays and baby's full moon celebration because Mee Sua signifies long life in Chinese culture. Mee Sua can be considered as a delicacy from the Foochow community - usually from Sibu and Setiawan. But I think most Sarawakians regardless of what dialects do enjoy Mee Sua too, cause I can hardly find Mee Sua in KL (I heard there's one in LOT 10). I'm not a Foochow btw, I'm a Teochew :D

So there you go;

Red wine chicken Mee Sua with an egg *SLURRRRRRPS*

Oh god, looking at this picture at 11.17pm makes my tummy grumbles again!

Anyways, have a nice weekend everyone. I'll be away with the family till Monday Stay tuned for more updates!

P/S: If you realise, I got bloggie a new header. Well, it's a long and sad story. Initially, I got bloggie a new template but after that I don't think it suits me so I change back to the original template yet everything was messed up! Including all the blog links and my header! I lost all of them :O I couldn't find the photo anymore (FML!) so I made up a simple header instead one sighhhhh I srsly need help, pronto!

xx
